About Stephanie Phillipps
My name is Stephanie Phillipps and I am a UKCP registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
The focus of my approach is in building a trusting relationship with my client, so that we can work through difficulties and emotional distress together.
I have a number of years experience of working within NHS mental health settings and with a diverse range of people from all walks of life, each bringing their own individual struggles, including:
- Self-esteem issues
- Childhood trauma, abuse and neglect
- Substance misuse
- Psychosis
- Depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Self harm
- Identity issues
- Anxiety
- Relationship problems
As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, I am a registered member of the UKCP.
I abide by their code of ethics and conduct and I am committed to professional development and ongoing supervision. I have full professional indemnity insurance. As part of my training at the University of Kent, I have undergone many years of personal psychotherapy, which helps me to support my own clients.
